Mabe Orphanage, Port au Prince
These are the Mabe kids who we have fallen in love with and have watched grow up over the last few years. They were taken in off the streets by our dear friend Maco and his family, and are being raised in a loving environment. But they have very few resources. No electricity, no running water, no toilets.

The Lamp for Haiti Clinic, Cite Soleil
The Lamp for Haiti is an amazing, inspiring community medical clinic providing
free care to the children of Cite Soleil, the poorest and most notorious slum in Haiti.

SAKALA/Pax Christi Ayiti, Cite Soleil
SAKALA/Pax Christi Haiti is a program established in 2006 to develop the capacity of young people in Cite Soleil. SAKALA mixes sports with social integration programs, youth leadership, peace education, and environmental protection. SAKALA's activities are held up by 4 principles: Peace, Respect, Sport, and the Environment. SAKALA creates provides opportunities for more than 300 children and young people in Haiti's most notorious slum.

Please pitch in if you can. Each Half Marathon runner is encouraged to donate $2 per mile ($26). 5K runners are asked to donate $5 per kilometer ($25). Supporters are asked to match or beat our runners' donations. If you aren't able to pledge that much, please pitch in whatever you can, no pledge is too small. Your pledge in any amount is greatly appreciated.

Many hands make the burden lighter. Thank you!! :)

In Peace & Solidarity
